I think it hurts men and women. Now if your a man, hear me out. It is great at first. You get easy sex with no relationship investment. But this is not true for all guys. Which is why the number of men who are virgins has increased since tinder was started. The women just pick from the top so there is a bunch of guys getting all the easy women. But what you will realize is hooking up just takes away your energy and desire for a lasting relationship ship. So you are setting your self up to be used for your wallet or your looks, you will eventually get a disease or a kid, and then you find yourself in your 40s still alone with no lasting connection to a woman who loves you. It’s fun in the beginning like the fish eating - worm on a hook. For women, there is really no upside to this besides getting passed around to men who just want to use you. You aren’t a woman anymore, you are a breathing flashlight. And just like a sex toy, you will be tossed aside when they are done. Both men and women will be left thinking that all men are pigs or all women are for the streets. No, it’s just that’s what you were hooking up with. The good women are not in clubs or on tinder. Neither are the good men that want to commit. Key word being commit. At the end of the day, hook up culture is meant to use people for sex with no commitment.
