The New July 2020 Watchtower Is Out and They are Starting to Feel the Pinch! #JehovahsWitnesses

The new Watchtower is out. It’s the July 2020 Study Edition and I’m beginning to think that Watchtower is starting to really feel the pinch.

I’ll show you why because In this video, we will cover Study Article 28 entitled: Be Convinced That You Have the Truth”. Stick around to the end for 3 basic truths that true Jehovah’s Witnesses must prove to themselves, at least according to this article.

They have inserted themselves between Jesus and salvation. It took years of real study and becoming born again to remove the Watchtower barb-wired from my brain. I met a dear witness friend on the bus and she actually spoke to me (i am dis-fellowshipped), and I told her I am a born again Christian. She immediately said 'Oh, well I can't talk to you then.' Sigh.

My sister is a JW, her husband whipped the hell out of their 4-5yr. son bc he was running around the house when My family was there for dinner, till this day I am angry with myself for not calling the Child Protection Services. Years later he's a teenager & she tells me the whole family is shunning him bc he doesn't want to go to meetings. Great point about being “persuaded to believe” vs assured. It never seemed right to me, even at a young age, that Watchtower would tell us to “make the ‘truth’ your own. They were really saying to convince yourself that what we’re telling you is the truth. You don’t need to make the truth your own, if it’s already truth. You just need to learn it.

By the way… I watch most if not all of your posts… You have a wonderful delivery and demeanor. I appreciate what you were doing… As well as others… I was a JW for roughly 20 years and I feel like I lost out on a “normal“ childhood. Fear and guilt we’re major weapons of the organization… I am now 43 years old and I still feel those emotions sometimes but it always feels nice when you know others “get it“. God bless you.

You are so brilliant, I just love your cheeky smiles, as you rip this satanic organisation to bits.

One very helpful tool I have found is their very own Kingdom Interlinear Translation (KIT). I am not or ever will be a JW, but I was told that years back many witnesses used to go out on the doors with it to show the original Greek. The problem was, in the 1980s many good Christians showed them that the Greek proved that the NWT was crap and many witnesses became Christians. As a result of this, this book was stopped being published. I have a copy, it cost me a lot of money, but it is so good. It clearly shows that in Colossians 1:16-17 the word "Other" is not in the Greek and put in brackets to indicate that it has been added. I use it all the time as the same Greek word they use for Jehovah, they use for Jesus many times. They hate it, but it is a watchtower publication do cannot say it is "From the devil (I put small d they put capital d)" Sadly the KIT on JW.org does not have the NWT next to it to show all the faults, (I take photos of the desired pages) but it is still good to show bad translations. 
Even in the Introduction it knocks then for 6, as it says that no one knows the name of God, they just use Jehovah because it is a popular name. Try it for yourself, it is a blessing from God.

First time viewer, life long son of JW family. Never Baptized, thank God! At 56, I totally remember the Bamboo torture discussion. The daily ass whoppings with a belt! Followed by meetings and Bible study.... Anytime I asked how do we know if this is the not Truth? Oh boy, you will die n Armmagedon as an Apostate! I left at 16, got married raised 5 sons, and stayed completely out of religion. I've recently started speaking with a pastor, and am feeling very mixed emotions, lost, and uncertain...we will see how everything works out. I like the side by side breakdown thank you!
