Great examination of the current Watchtower study Mike.

Coming to know Jesus. It's 4 years since my last JW meeting and at last I can now pray to Jesus. I remember the first time I did it, I was expecting a bolt of lightning come down on me! There are plenty of scriptures to show we can speak to Jesus.

Paragraph 5. I remember well having the Sword of Damocles hanging over me. A constant fear of displeasing our father. What loving parent would want that from their children? Now my eyes are opened and it's the love of our father that motivates me to do my best.

You mention, Michael, about JW's exposing each other. There has been information in their literature to encourage ones to do that. Also, I remember recording a talk by the circuit overseer at my old congregation saying that loyalty to Jehovah would mean that if anyone was saying things out of the ordinary then we should speak to the elders. I'm ashamed to say I did it myself.

Paragraph 11. The Watchtower is telling it's as adherents to reject information from their enemies. They have often seen various denominations as their enemies, such as the Catholics, and yet they have their books and quote turn when it suits their needs or to prove their doctrines. Oh, by the way Mike, your beard. Love the illustration.

Paragraph 12. "The only channel". I had to bite my tongue at this point. Remember what Geoffrey Jackson said regarding when asked if they were the only spokespeople God is using. His answer seemed to contradict "the only channel" statement.

Can you please explain more about pray to Jesus. 
The reason for me is I can't find any indication of that by Paul, Peter, or John. 
So, I try to understand that and clear my mind on that particular matter. I appreciate your work because you sound genuine and very polite to comment on the WT position time after time. Thank you

In paragraph 4, they said we must “observe [Jehovah’s] commandments, ” but the cited verse 1 John chapter 2 talking about Jesus. Any comments about it Michael?

Michael, will all dead humans since Adam, resurrect during the 1000 years in the Watchtower theology? if yes and I suspect You are going to say yes it truly dilutes Jesus sacrifice on the cross!...Thank you for your great work.
