the first time I went to a memorial I was told not to take it, pass it on. I was without knowing saying thank you Jesus but no thanks. Shame on watchtower for taking that away from me for a long time. shame on me for being fooled by them. I have ask for forgiveness for following that. I even partake on line with a Christian church and also do it at home alone.

I just celebrated the memorial in my home with my children, they were a bit uncomfortable and I don’t know why, but I went on and continued till done, prayed aloud, and prayed in my private space again, i felt I did the right thing and hope some of the memorial penetrated my family, I feel so vas I was a j dub and believed fir so long but one day I just woke up and when I did I couldn’t believe what I believed fir so long,

You're right. JW'S follow a man in JF Rutherford who said you don't have to eat the bread and the wine, exactly opposite what Jesus said to do. I remember 40 yrs ago ( after I stopped going to meetings, but before I could go to a church). I had the memorial in my home when my wife went to the hall. She didn't partake, but I did it.

The JWs don’t need Jesus because they have the watchtower and awake. They have their own mediator which is the governing body 1 Timothy 2:4-5.

Thank you for the great videos. My wife and I are (I’m not sure what our old congregation has done with us - we haven’t been back for a year) ex JW’s. there was always something missing and when I started to ask questions - well let’s just say any sensible answers were not forthcoming. I subsequently found what was missing - it was Jesus. Through prayer I found Jesus and now I feel - for the first time in many years - peace. I am also aware now of all the false teachings. I was so hurt and ashamed that I led my beautiful wife into this very false religion. I look back now and acknowledge that we both learnt heaps about certain subjects- however there was no ‘salvation’ offered with JW’s - and the only love that was shown was to those who were in the congregation. (Not always - but mostly) I continue to pray for those old ‘friends’ who are still with them and have a hope that our Lord will save those he wants. I have no hate or anger in me for the ‘organisation’ knowing that our just God will punish those that need it. I can only see it now as an ‘experience’ that led me to the one and only true God Jesus/Jehovah. I must say though - we are finding it difficult to find appropriate fellowship.

Witnesses only really focus on Jesus at the time of the memorial supper. We must remember that His perfect life and resurrection bodily from death are just as important to our salvation. That's something to celebrate all year long!
