*Important correction:* The 140ºF temperature mentioned at 00:51:52 was a poor celsius to Fahrenheit conversion. While 140ºF is quite mild for a sauna, it is very high for a hot bath. The temperature that was stated should've been 104ºF based on a conversion from 40ºC in the original study. Thank you, Carole Dockree, for pointing this out.

I am doing cold therapy, basically home gym workout to hot and sweating, then dive into the pool spend 5mins swimming in 18 degrees celsius. Here in NZ we are in winter, it is probably not cold enough but its enough for a cold shock, I know it works because at night I do not need a blanket to sleep my body produces enough heat. I also take green tea extract (caffeine free) at night which adds to the thermogenic reaction. Will add Sauna as well as a hot cold shock. Thanks Rhonda

I am a nurse and give high dose IV vitamin C. . . very few side effects. . . you mentioned hyperglycemia, but this may be a false hyperglycemia, because glucose monitoring machines will have a false positive after high dose IV vitamin C, due to the similarity of vitamin C in structure to glucose. . . regular blood tests will be more accurate. . . there is a danger that a patient, going to the ER after getting vitamin C might get a fingerstick, a false positive reading and some insulin and then have a much too low blood sugar, of course. Other than that, high dose vitamin C is well tolerated.
