We can and have been used for decades. It actually works better than 4 stroke, widens 2 stroke power band because changing exhaust temperature makes expansion chamber work at wider rpm range.

Hey guys, I apologise for any misunderstanding. Turbos on two strokes are possible, however it makes the power band too narrow, so much so that these engines are useless unless you use a constant rpm cvt transmission that keeps the engine at the same rpm all the time.

You can't analyze a turbo engine assuming the exit boundary pressure it still atmospheric. If you include the turbine and compressor in the analysis, you'll see that since the exhaust pressure and volume are doing work on the turbine to drive the compressor, the exhaust pressure before the turbine will remain high enough to maintain a fairly acceptable amount of mixture "short circuiting" when done properly. At least from my understanding of 2 stroke engine dynamics and thermodynamics. Snowmobilers have been making turbo 2 strokes successfully since the early 90s. The newer turbo 2 stroke sleds aren't the first of their kind, just the first ones with factory support and a warranty.

Just for one minute stop assuming the exhaust pressure is zero, then realize the pressure in the exhaust system is the same as the pressure in the cylinder just as the piston is closing the exhaust port and you should see how it's easily done (turboing a 2 stroke)

You can use turbo on 2 stroke however it is very complicated build. Learn more about Detroit diesel 2 stroke engine and how it operates with turbine and compressed air.
However with gasoline 2 stroke engine it is almost impossible to do so because most of gasoline engines have fuel and air mixture pre mixed so the turbine would push out part of fuel and air mixture along with combustion gases through the hot exhaust so it would potentially ignite on the exhaust and burn everything around you and user would be injured.
The simplest approach with gasoline engine would be to convert 2 stroke to 4 stroke but then you'd have a bigger and heavier engine...
