You were right all the way!! Self-value, leadership, hard work, ethics, development as a person are all characteristics any parent should value in the end! Football isn't forever. Character is forever!! Many NFL players end up penniless, then what?? Parents are setting up their children for a life without a personal safety net.
God bless the Sabans for all their hard work and genuine concern and care for each individual player as a young man who needed guidance and support while at the University of Alabama!! ❤❤

Sooner fan here. We had an OL that we had here in Norman, developed him, great kid. His dad tells OU we want this amount of $, or we're leaving. OU matched it, then all of a sudden, 2 OU employees saw Green sneaking his stuff out of his dorm to his car days later, without a word. They said, what happened? We gave you your $ amount. He said, " Talk to my dad." Then he left. It would've made him the top paid OL in the nation or atleast top 3, but his dad stabbed OU in the back, and made his sons decision for him. It's sad what football has become. Colleges and parents stabbing other colleges in the back that recruited, developed, and treated like family, all for a few extra dollars? He was a good dude too man, but when controlling parents see the dollar signs they can make off their children, it's over. Sad AF
