True anyone that wants to become a professional athlete, should be aware that pursuing that dream takes up at least 5 hours of training at least 5-6 times a week, split in morning and after noon workouts. Consisting of weight training, cardio, and training for the actual sport your pursuing. It's pretty much a full time job, when you take into consideration the recovery time to go after it again and again.

Starting on a big varsity program is one thing; playing D1 is another, playing SEC is another, playing for Alabama is another, then the NFL is another. Their commitment to their craft along with their mental and physical preparedness is amazing. They earned every penny.

It's interesting hearing this guy talk about the program, I mean there are two reasons why Alabama is so successful. 1 . Saban is probably the best college coach of all time.
2. They are very successful at getting kids into the pros.
You always hate seeing the same team dominate year in year old but you gotta respect and also envy it a bit.

If I didn't know Jonathan and TO were talking about football, I would swear they were talking about the Marines :-). BTW, love seeing content from TO. We need more!

Went to Rutgers in 2010 graduate early I literally was in college at 17 and it definitely is not for everybody, meetings, practice, study hall and training camp is brutal but it’s a experience I’ll forever be thankful for

I was born and raised an Auburn fan supposed to hate everything Bama. But I have to tip my cap to Nick Saban. He's got something figured out on how to build a college football program. And from everything I've ever witnessed or heard, he helps mold some great young men while they are in his program. Nothing but respect to Saban.

i play d3 football at the university of Wisconsin whitewater and even at the d3 level I can relate to this. You dedicate your life to this sport. It never ends until you quit at the college level

The thing about Alabama they won't force you to buy.If you don't buy in, there is someone behind you that possible better that will buy in.

Several years back, I remember hearing Allen interviewed the week leading up to a championship game and I told one of my friends, “That’s not the guy who ends up being your head coach one day. That’s the guy who ends up being the team owner or Athletics Director, running a university’s entire athletics program.”

What I love about Saban is his discipline. You could take TO in his prime years, throw that talent and skill in a college kids body and Saban would still sit his ass out if his attitude wasn't right.
