You are the Bob Ross of Windows. Comfortable, encouraging dialog. I'm digging this series. Thank you.

Thanks for the Terminal video about Posh Git. I just set it up last night. Pretty cool.

Before Windows Terminal, I was using Fluent Terminal. Split pane feature has made me switch the loyalties. I have not gone back to Fluent Terminal since the day I found out about the Windows Terminal. The background image is another personalization feature which I find quite useful. Each shell can have its own background and all other settings.

Best things in life are the simple things. Scott your videos are absolutely brilliant and the format is easy to understand. Many thanks. You are making a difference 👍😊

I actually prefer the JSON settings over the UI settings both in Windows Terminal and in VSCode.

Scott, thanks so much. Subbed after your “Git 101 Basics” vid. Some claim it’s a waste to have a master-level expert teach ‘101’ basics and I couldn’t disagree more. I believe the greatest value intensity for elite-level pros is at the proficiency fringes. In my experience, motivated squire-levels, already familiar with the core concepts, lexicon, etc., can level-up quickly with any capable mentor, while for beginners, the difference in pace and outcome of instruction from ‘experienced’ vs. ‘master’ can be game-changing. Thanks once again for investing in this way in the future of the profession. I sense continuing content of this nature and quality will make a difference that’s meaningful and lasting.

Excellent video, thanks Scott! Is there a way to duplicate pane so it keeps same working directory? So that both panes are in same directory

Where is the best place to request a video or blog topic? I'd love thoughts on some housekeeping items like were to install Anaconda for wsl and if there should be one install on a machine or if two is okay (one for windows another for wsl linux distro), migrating the entire Data Science environment from /c to somewhere under root(?), understanding any conflicts that may appear between windows and wsl and best practices... etc

Hi Scott,

When will it be supported on windows server?

What about "open as" in tab or open as admin in tab? This would be nice to have it, to be able to add it to settings file.

How do you do the zoom-in on the screen, then draw those boxes and arrows, and then zoom-out to normal? Requires special software or is it built-in to Windows 10?
