How to PAIR New Firestick Remote & Without Old Remote (Fast Tutorial)

None of this worked for me... trying to connect a replacement remote to my regular tv & fire stick but pressing the 3 lines, back arrow & left side of the circle in that exact sequence it automatically paired my remote. Hope this helps!!!

For all those having trouble. Unplug the usb cable from the fire stick for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in and the screen should appear similar to the guys in the video at the start where it is glowing and colorful. DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING on the tv or old fire tv remote. Wait until a screen appears saying “we cannot detect your remote” (the batteries from your old remote should be out for safe measure). Once the screen appears press and hold down the Home button on the new remote for possibly 1 minute. After this your remote should pair. Feel free to comment if help needed

My toddler lost the remote in his room and we watch TV at night so I had an older fire stick remote and the home button holding actually works for me thank god.

I did have to unplug and restart the stick but it worked

I have a non-smart TV. I am using a regular fire stick. The remote is broken. I ordered a new remote from Amazon and I can’t get it to pair to the fire stick. However, the holding the home screen button method paired The remote to my LG TV. It turns up the volume and Power it off. The issue is the Firestick part isn’t it.
