I had an out of body experience shortly after trying the first hemisync. It was while I was waking and conscious, that’s what made it surprise me. Have you ever known what it’s like to simultaneously be looking at yourself from above in an astral projection and at the same exact time seeing your own astral projection from your eyes on the ground. It was AMAZING. It was a split second but was certainly real.

I know this might be heretical or maybe just of little interest to some. But everything Monroe says is true, but what led me on a spiral of religious insanity was connecting these ideas to religion and theology. I notice Monroe uses careful vocabulary maybe as to not be misinterpreted or scare people off, but in the earlier translations of the Hebrew and Greek text of the Bible I now believe everything he says ligns up with Christian scripture. But it cannot be found in the new king james version or most modern translations. They key is the definition of words like "kosmos" and "heavens" these words have their definitions changed from the hebrew intentions so that people have less of an understanding of the "afterlife" or "dream realm". For example the book of Epphisians lines up with the Monroe Institute if you read a more accurate translation.
"The Second Testament" by Scot Mcknight uses a more accurate verbiage and what I use to read.

What does he mean when he says "in a completely physical environment gravity seems. To have a slight perceivable effect on it (astral body). " and I'm curious to know how he acquired this knowledge.
