After nearly 30 years with NBC News, justice correspondent Pete Williams has announced he will retire in July. “Pete’s reporting has always been ironclad. His ability to break down the most complex and fast-developing situations is uncanny,” NBC News president Noah Oppenheim said in a statement.

This is unacceptable! Pete Williams should be forbidden to step down until his 30th anniversary! By retiring after 29 years, Williams is committing a Round Numbers Violation! No matter what the situation, it's more important that he follows The Rules of Numerical Morality instead of following his own whims! By leaving after 29 years, he's violating The Rules of Numerical Morality, which is a Profound Desecration, which is an Avarah G'dolah!

Ever since the 9th grade when my world history teacher made us watch nightly news daily. 20 mins of our 50 min class was news! Since then have been an avid news watcher. Thanks for the news Pete!

Noooo, please say it isn't so. Pete Williams always excellent in his reporting and explanation of any story. Wonderful speaking voice to go with all that professionalism. Hope younger journalists were paying attention to his expertise. Wish him a very enjoyable retirement.
