5 Car Enthusiast Habits That Are Weird!

Admit it, we do some really strange stuff as enthusiasts. Non-car people think we're really weird for doing these things, but by chance if you are one watching this video, hopefully I can shine some light as to why we do these things. There will also not be a justcarguythings segment at the end since this video is basically 5 consecutive entries. Maybe I should stop those end segments so I can make more of these videos...what do you guys think? I hate to say I've done all of these, number two especially. I own a '98 Civic hatch. I fixed it up, wrapped it in a candy red vinyl wrap, and named it 'Shingo'. Guess why.

The off center license plate is common on the Evo because if the plate was in the center. It will block the air flow to the front mount intercooler. Same goes for the RX7.

Prob my weirdest habit is my car Stereo is full of Eurobeat remixes instead of any radio station channels.

I will def call my GT86 the Tofu car because i crazy of Initial D.

All of this is 100% true for me. Owner of a modded '94 Integra. She was built in '93 and as of this year is now a classic car. I'm a sucker for classic JDM cars (even if USDM spec).

Sad part, when I was younger my own mother used to care about her car being clean more than me at times, I was also going to say “What type of people name their cars?” Then I realized I’m named after the Lexus guy due to having a family of car enthusiasts.

All this is so true:
* I recently washed my car in -2 C (~29 F) weather
* She's called The Caviar Brick
* I probably have every mm^2 of her on photo
* I've spent about 2x her monetary worth on parts. Make that 4x, because some of her piston rings recently gave up :(
* The licence plate is in the middle though, because the car's designed for it, so it doesn't restrict anything
