I am an Australian and I can honestly say that I am more frightened by the prospect of a Rep win in this election than of any of the results of Australian elections in all of my 62 years. This election may have dire worldwide repercussions for generations to come so think hard and long-term before you cast your vote. Demagoguery, cults of personality, fear and hate mongering and anti-intellectualism have never in human history led to anything but disaster.

The United States. Born in blood (1775-1783), blood again in the 1860's and priming itself for yet another bloodbath (a few to 100+ people at a time so far). I was always happy that Canada was located in a peaceful neighbourhood compared with most other countries. Not so sure now.
