I just finally watched this. Glenn Close was phenomenal in this role.

Boo hoo, he had a tough childhood because of addiction in a parent. I have heard very sad stories in AA and NA. Jd is not unique. Thousands of us have children who have saved us and stood by us daily, my daughter in law and my grandchildren are angles. The only difference is jd capitalized on his mothers suffering. I have not met a single person who was inspired by his story. It was an entertaining movie.

Would love to watch it but I hate woke Netflix. you couldn't pay me to subscribe. They are disgusting. Wish this movie was presented on a different streaming channel.

Never once did he mention that he didn't have money to pay for things.
