Gooseworx Responds to TADC Content Farm Drama

Content farm channels have been long discussed in both the amazing digital circus and hazbin hotel communities. Some creators have started to take a more firm position against them in recent times and for good reason. Gooseworx has been talking about this kind of stuff vaguely for a while but has recently made her position very clear which i'll be going through in this video.

It all started with a content farm channel making a punk variation of jax. For those unaware, a content farm channel basically just exists to farm comics themed in whatever trending content is available. posting as much as possible and creating very questionable content.

Fun fact: Content farms are technically Elsagate (while not as explicit as elsagate, it kinda confirms how both are content farms with some sort of trend FOR KIDS.) Which allows you to be able to report it for being elsa gate

Imagine making a creative, fun show with your characters and watching it get milked for content and watch your character get sexualized. God that would suck :(

Edit: I know everything gets sexualized at some point but like over 2000 results on r34 within a week is crazy, especially considering how many children are in the fandom. I’m also referring to the content farms/“comics” that appear when you google “the amazing digital circus.” The content farms *do* sexualize the characters.


Edit 2: I’m also referring specifically to if you were in Goose’s situation. If any of you have had OCs before you know they can be precious and a big part of your creativity. I don’t think anyone would want their OCs on r34 with over 2000 results unless they’re H0rny as hell.
Plus, I don’t have twitter/whatever goose is on so I have no idea what her options are. Do not get mad at me for not knowing she’s alright with shipping/nsfw.

What people seem to forget is that barely any fans of any media actually enjoy or watch content farms. It's usually targeted towards very little kids, which is honestly disturbing considering the stuff they put on there, and sad considering it's usually stolen content.

Copyright striking these content farm channels isn't just an "I don't like the content", it's punishing channels that chase after profit and pollute YouTube. I understand her point on this, but there's also nothing wrong with shutting down this sort of content

Content farm channels can indeed dilute and lower the quality of original art by profiting off others' creativity. I agree with Gooseworks's position. It’s frustrating for creators who genuinely invest time and effort. Original content should be protected and celebrated.
