On Goose's Tumblr, they wrote to an anon asking if "they're proud of tadc" and they responded with "I was" and I think that's the most heartbreaking thing an artist has to go through

I feel so bad for them bc they worked so hard on tadc just for it to almost immediately be turned into a victim of merciless content farming, it actually pisses me off.

Edit: I want to specify some things.

1. I know it happens with pretty much everything but the reason why this case was so bad is because of how aggressive it was and it happened so quickly so the fandom didn't even get to enjoy in peace, it's golden days lasted a few hours at most. It's sad how they never got the "I miss how it was before" opportunity.

2. I usually don't care about it which is why I felt the need to specify but I realized not everyone gets that, nor cares to. It's that it was completely unexpected from the makers and how aggressive it was, a lot of the content is dangerous for kids who just want to enjoy fan creations but are eventually desensitized to really gross shit that could put them in danger.

3. Ignoring it won't do anything but make them think they can just do it. Enough action and it can at least be lessened, it happened with Elsa gate, it even got on the news because people kept calling it out.

I just felt like this much attention deserved more input.

Gooseworks actually despises these content farm channels, and I find it very sad as well. The people behind these content farms have much better things to do in life, yet they choose to steal other people's characters & use them in not-so-kid-friendly ways for their own monetary gain.

It sickens me.

I feel so bad for Goose. Imagine having a project in the works for years based off of works and ideas you admire, just for people to make ElsaGate and literal corn based off it.

Edit: Yeah I’m aware every piece of media will have 18+ content off of it but the issue is how it’s easily accessible it is on an app like YouTube, where that kind of stuff should not even be allowed without a warning or age restriction on it. But YT moderation has always sucked so what can you do?

I think this is because the style of the animation of the show and the graphics colourful style attracted a lot of kids, and not to mention a lot of already young glitch production fans.

Farm content was inevitable for how popular TADC got in like just 3 days to a week, but my heart goes out to Gooseworx because alot of fans expect (some even demand) her and Glitch Productions to take like excessive action on the content farms and all they can do is acknowledge it and ask "please don't". But even then other fans reprimand them for it saying "they're just making their own fan content".
Gooseworx can't win this and it's sad seeing people harassing her about it in every way

I fucking HATE this happening to Gooseworx. Content farms are just- they infuriate me. As an artist myself who’s writing a story I hope to make into something animated like a show someday, I really don’t like what happened here. It’s just- it’s not right. We should look out for one another and stop this shit before it gets bad. It happened to Murder Drones too but not like this. I just wish there was a way to make communities that develop like this a lot easier to be in. I feel like this community has a lot of potential to be great. We just need to NOT to be immature and be respectful of one another
