I used cosmic for a month, only paused as i want a system right now that shuts my Screen down after some time which isn't implemented yet. Other than that cosmic is an awesome alternative for gnome AND hyprland. Which is a crazy cool thing!

I suppose that users who want to stick with the safety and stability of the customized GNOME-based PopOS will stick with 22.04, while the early adopters become extended guinea pigs on 24.04.

A few months back I really dove deep into foss. I was pretty excited about this new world I thought was anti corpo. I was going to buy a system76 rig but have changed my mind. The foss world like it's mainstream counterparts are woke and gay. I was so hopeful for system76 and many other projects/orgs in this space. But come to find out system76 is as woke as apple or any other creepy corpo company.
