As you mentioned it`s not only Glyphosate (that is actually a chelating agent and binds metals like copper, zinc, magnesium and makes them unavailable) but it is also adjuvants that are added to glyphosate to make the famous RoundUp. RoundUp also contains formaldehyde.
Glyphosate destroys Shikamata pathway in our gut bacteria and causes so many more problems. I hope you have read works by D. Suzuki, A, Pusztai, I. Ermakova.
Also, because GMO crops are nutrient deficient ( mono-crops that are not rotated on fields+ chelating agent glyphosate) makes people deficient of needed metals and nutrients to produce enzymes . Lack of magnesium is one of reasons for various psychological problems, stress, depression, etc from which we have benzodiazepine proliferation in drug industry.

Unless an American beer is labeled organic you are going to be drinking beer that is made from barley sprayed with glyphosate. Mexican beer is the same.

Another exceptional lecture. THANK YOU FOR putting a spotlight on the truth about industrial farming practice. I will point out though that just because it's grown local doesn't mean it's organic or pesticide free. I have already uncovered 3 small local farms in texas that have been using deceptive trade practice. They claim their product is organic when it is not. So beware of the local grower as well. 95% of all the growers do whatever it takes to make profit even at the intentional expense of the consumers health.

Glyphosate as a ripening agent is nonsense from left field. You have mixed it up with glyphosate used on grains in the last few days before harvest, to kill the plant with already ripe grain. The reason they do that is to reduce its moisture content so that the harvested grain isn't as likely to rot. This is done in a few cases, but it is not a commonly used process.

But when it is used, it gets many times as much glyphosate into the food as would be used in a GMO crop - and it wouldn;t work for a herbicide tolerant GMO crop. For the herbicide tolerant GMO crops, the glyphosate is a weed control technique, and nobody bothers to kill weeds when the crop had grown into a large plant. It's used when the crop plant is quite small. In the months while the plant is growing, any glyphosate is diluted by the plant growing larger (maybe a factor of a thousand). It is also reduced by being excreted or metabolized. Neither of these factors apply when glyphosate is used with non-GMO plants for moisture control, a week before harvest. So that's the use that gets the highest amount of glyphosate into what you eat.

Even for that extreme case, there are legislated rules about how much can be allowed to remain on the crop, so it's not likely to be a very large amount.

You also suggested earlier in the video that it accumulates in our bodies. But I have read that it is commonly found in urine, which indicates that it is NOT accumulating.

One more point, and here I am rather out of my depth. It is true that glyphosate is a chelating agent. That means it has an affinity for metal ions. It was originally developed for that property so that it could clean industrial pipes clogged with deposits of certain minerals. But in that process, it was used in the form of a salt, heated to the melting point, not as a dilute solution sprayed like mist through the air. There's a real question in my mind whether it absorbs enough minerals to matter when used as a herbicide.

Yep, it's bad. On the label for Roundup Weed Killer, it says not to use it around food crops, but the commercial farms drench your food in it.

Appreciate this a lot! Trying to pinpoint factors in my wife’s life that may be causing chronic headaches and chronic joint pain so we can target and eliminate. It became very prevalent after her swine flu “vaccine” . I’m now convinced Glyphosate and GMO is a major factor

Thank you so much for this, I worked in grounds keeping for for 18 years up until 2017 when I was diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis and fibromyalgia, whilst doing the grounds keeping I was using roundup weed killer in large amounts day in day out that we used with Knapsacks, often these would leak and we would be soaked to the skin. I also suffer from low vitamin D low folic acid levels stage two kidney disease and an inflamed liver.
I was fit and healthy prior to my diagnosis, I suffer with walking, numbness in both hands, headaches stabbing pains throughout my body that randomly occur, muscly twitches and spasms, I suffer brain fog every day and my sleep patterns are unpredictable, I have little energy and can not function enough to allow me to work, I get depressed and have mood swings which was not like me prior to this, I am now registered disabled and believe that it was the weed killer that did this to me.
I also have two sons, the first one 25 who is neuro typical and a ten year old son that will need support throughout his life as he has autism.
What are your thoughts on this, is it possible the heavy use of glyphosate could have caused my disabilities and also my sons autism.
I understand many other agricultural workers have also been diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis which leads me to think it was caused by the roundup weed killer.

Thank you Dr., You are excellent! By eating organic are we avoiding glyphosate? Or are they allowing that chemical in organic processes as well? I read that it can actually alter liver function permanently, effecting the cells in a genetic level. I also read that they have found it in organic oats and flours and that it is often used in the drying process of many grains.
