We need an entire series with this aesthetic, told from the perspective of J.M. Colt.

What I love about this, the Memory Bank, and Regeneration is there is almost no dialogue and it’s all environmental storytelling.

No voiceover trying to explain everything, no music to try and hypnotize you, just crisp visuals that leave you intrigued.

As a child of the seventies I watched the original as reruns and thus have been a huge fan. These Regeneration shorts are absolutely outstanding. The imagery is stunning. The attention to detail gives this production that epic feel. It literally gave me goosebumps. This is what Trek should be. My kudos to the talented individual(s). Paramount should hire such talent. Thank You for this.

What you have done is absolutely amazing. Its hard to put it into words. You've taken the movie studio theatrics out of Star Trek and have given it something new - epic realism. Out of all these videos I have watched, I don't feel like I am watching a Paramount produced Star Trek show. I feel like I am watching something that is real. Thank you guys. You truly have improved upon Gene Roddenberry's vision.

The quality and detail are SHOCKINGLY good. The light is perfect. The image looks like panavision stock from the 80s. Wow

Love the homage to Syd Mead's "L.A. 2013" as envisioned in 1988--right down the Civic Center sign!

The face and figure of that actress is blowing my mind, she is so reminiscent of that actress who accompanied number one to the planet to try to save captain pike in the cage that there must be some familiar relationship between them.

I would be all aboard watching a show in this style.

I've always wanted to see more of the Enterprise and her crew from The Cage.

Seeing the Enterprise on land in San Francisco and Mia Colt, brings to mind a Comic where Colt was sent into an alternate future. The Enterprise was at the San Francisco Smithsonian Sea, Air, and Space Museum decommissioned. The Enterprise-A was under Pike’s command. This looks amazing, so realistic, right down to Colt. The Enterprise doesn’t look Dated At All.

Holy smokes, that's utterly amazing... I almost hate to admit it, but that gave me a bit of the case of goosebumps. Just blew me right back to the good days of Trek that I grew up with. Absolutely fantastic work. I would buy you a beer if I could. Or a shot, or whatever you wanted to drink. You sure as heck earned it, no doubt.

Simply outstanding work you are doing here. It feels like I watched the original pilot episode and then had a vivid dream later that night mixed with modern film making aesthetics

Really…no words. Your other clip showing Spock brought a great lump to my throat. So wish you could bring them all back to life, and I’m sure that any fan who has the ability would happily donate to any future projects.

@OTOY After watching this, I wept. This has taken me back, back to how I first remember star trek. We need more like this. The lack of dialog doesn't matter. The score and expression is enough to trigger memories and thoughts of what the characters would say. Thank you for giving this.

The scene at :11 is totally a realized version of a 1988 Syd Mead painting of Los Angeles in the year 2013 done for the LA Times Magazine. Nice! I'm all for more Syd, always.

This 32 second clip has more heart and effort put into it than anything Trek related shat out since 2009 combined.
