Xiaomi 14 Review: Small-ish Flagship with Flagship Cameras

The Xiaomi 14 global version is finally here. With a 6.36-inch screen, I consider this phone small, and very easy to hold. It helps that the build quality is good. But unlike many small phones there are no compromises with the camera system, in fact, Xiaomi gave this non-Pro phone Pro-like camera hardware.

now that it has 4k60 on the ff cam its a better value than the regular s24. and this is coming from an s24 ultra user. Great value! it's going to be better next year. 😁

Here in Malaysia I can get this phone for around $620 only for 12GB/256GB model, pretty damn cheap here 😁 and the Pro model cost around $710 for the same storage configuration, both phone are import set model since the global model will be launch next month in Malaysia

Hello from Malaysia. Good video, i am glad Ugreen products been getting the recognition they deserved. They are pretty high quality product. Our specs for Xiaomi 14 its actually a 12GB Ram version priced at RM3499 (256GB) or RM3799 (512GB).

Just bought it, the Chinese Variant one. I'm so amazed, just facing minor problem when using camera because it heats up when using 4K 60 FPS to the point where the video becomes glitchy. Other than that this phone is a beast, the video and images quality is so good.

3:30 there seems to be some jittering shaking with the main camera video during night. I could be wrong...

Saw them in Shanghai back in January it is a beautiful phone when I saw the price I was quite disappointed.

The idea of the device is nice. But camera shake is huge. And switching from regular to zoom shifts the colors greatly. Its like to different manufactures of the camera model. And no color and exposure matching in software.

there is a setting for the notification bar if you don't want the split type of setting you can have it the old way you swipe down and you get both the notifications and the shortcuts in one swipe

Does this have audio issues for video recording if you plug in an external mic? LL techview was complaining about it on the chinese variant.
