Xiaomi 13 Review | A worthy Samsung S23 alternative?

Reviewing the Xiaomi 13, one of the best compact(ish) phones in 2023 and hot Samsung Galaxy S23 rival. That camera tech isn't as hot at night as the Pro, but the Xiaomi 13 boasts the same excellent performance for gaming and feature-packed MiUI software. It's not as cheap as the OnePlus 11 or Realme GT3 but it's certainly a solid flagship which makes only a few small compromises.

I actually found the Xiaomi 13's camera to be better in low light than the Samsung S23, although it's still no Pro. Gamers will love that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, plus the MiUI 14 gaming mode - ideal for Genshin Impact action. Battery life is also good, although the Pro and Galaxy S23 are slightly on top here.

That AMOLED screen may lack LTPO smarts, but movie fans should adore the crisp, sharp-contrast visuals. Those Xiaomi 13 stereo speakers pack a punch too, while there's buckets of storage.

So that's what I think of the Xiaomi 13 vs the Samsung S23 and Pro after a week of testing. Are you tempted?

so far with gaming social media with mobile data and camera I got 9 hours and 30 mins screen on time 100-0 percent with Xiaomi 13, what a beast!(50 percent brightness)

Owned an S10+ and a MI10T Pro. Xiaomi phone on paper had better specs but my S10+ was more reliable. Im using an S23U now, no regrets

if this phone was priced somewhere around the 700dollars price range it would've been a major hit (but xiaomi phones typically get cheaper so...) plus it has a charger in the box and it's pretty fast comapred to samsung's 25w
