I've been learning English for so long and I'm still struggling to understand all native English speakers in general because every single person has their own unique speech rate, many people tend to speak relatively slow or a little fast in a very understandable way but others are used to speak extremely fast almost at the same speed of the light, you know what I mean right? It's still challenging to understand English-speaking people whatever their accent. It can be kinda frustrating but I won't ever give up on my English learning goals, I'm very patient and it's not the end of the world, everybody has come across many difficulties to overcome along the way. I can understand some speakers of English when they're talking to each other and I tend to enjoy what I'm listening to. It'll be important for me to ask for help anytime I don't catch what I heard, they would have to slow down their speech pace in order to better understand what they had said, and they know there are millions of English learners who will not grasp everything they hear. It's also important to understand your favorite topic in English and by doing so, you will recognize and pick out the most important vocabulary words and phrases from that kind of content you love.
