Sony ZV1 MI in 2024... IS IT WORTH IT?

I've always been a big fan of the Sony ZV1 and just as we were recording this recap video, Sony announced the Sony ZV1 Mark II, so we wanted to answer the question... Is it still worth buying the ZV1 Mark 1 in 2024, especially when you look at used prices?

We've tried to include as much footage as possible, going through all the Pro's and Cons of this camera.

What do you think of the ZV1 or ZV1 Mark II?

I already have one, so instead of just buying a new lens for my Pentax k3 iii, im instead creating a rig for the zv1, so i have a camera dedicated for video and one dedicated to photo.

I was looking forward for the ZV-1 Mark II, but it unfortunately doesn’t have Optical Image Stabilization found in the Mark I. I find it weird why Sony would drop such a crucial piece of tech in a vlogging camera where stabilization is a must have. Electronic stabilization works but it is nowhere near as good as OIS.

The ZV-1 Mark I is the camera I am going to purchase. Good thing that Sony putting R&D into small compacts in 2023, as the ZV compact cameras are very popular among many consumers.
