My ex broke up with me 6 months ago over a text. After I attempted to call her that same night (she ghosted), I haven't reached out to her at all since. I loved her with all my heart and always put her first, but during these months of NC, I realized the relationship was unbalanced and she did not reciprocate the same efforts in the relationship. Months ago, I would have done anything to get her back - now, I don't even know if I want her back. Listen to Coach and work on yourself because you'll realize that you deserve better.

It works! 80 days of no contact and I got a direct indirect text asking about her weed eater. Something that she could easily fix or have a neighbor fix. She asked if I could come over and fix it for her. She also wished me an early happy birthday. I went the next day and fixed her weed trimmer and we caught up. I kept it short and polite. We hugged at the end. I'm back in no contact and hope she reaches out again soon. Thanks Craig! I'm going about my life again without her until she misses me again.

She broke up with me- she reached out 3 times in 4 months, finally replied after the 3rd text…. Oddly enough, I missed her so much, but when I started responding to her I realized I didn’t miss her anymore. Lol. The connection wasn’t there anymore. I stopped responding altogether. Been a week no contact again. Feels weird, but good.

It's been 7 months since NC and I had just about started recovering and lost 20 pounds, gained muscle, work wise I'm a bit directionless but I'll figure that out too. Of late her memories are hitting me hard, I miss her a lot, feels like anhedonia, I've lost interest in everything, which I also think is because I'm lonely, I've no friends so zero interaction with people. I want to come out of this soon. I want to find the person I was before the relationship. I still love her though.

6 months of NC LATER, still hurts just as much and very sure she has moved on and I’m happy for her. The pain is real but I’m still trying to do the work for myself, otherwise I have removed myself from almost everything. I’m the exception to the no contact rule and my ex never came back. I try to not think of her but she always creeps into my thoughts and dreams.

I saw someone that looked a lot like my ex walking away from my address when I was driving home today, honestly it shook me up and freaked me out quite a lot, we broke up 5 months ago, been in NC for 4 months straight, I hope it wasn't her, maybe I'm just seeing phantoms... you could say The Phantom Menace! haha!

But I do still miss her, so unless she is dating someone "better" than me, she probably misses me too.

Been 7 month of NC after several months of casual texting. 2.5yrs out of the relationship. They are the dumper and it was brutal by text. I made all the mistakes you can make until I just stopped contact. They still watch all my stories I post and I don’t post anything to try and trigger them. I just live my life but they are on my mind a lot.

I had an over 5 year relationship end 2 months ago . My x reached out about 4 weeks ago with the I miss you and think about you every day I just don’t think it’s a good idea to talk right now but maybe we can hang out when we’re fully healed . I Haven’t heard a word from her since but I did hear from my x before my most recent x who I haven’t heard from in over 6 years . Crazy how things work even though I didn’t necessarily want to hear from this x. I just really hope I hear from the one I want to be with again

Just wanted to give my experience as a NC "long timer."
I've been in NC for 2 years now. It's been hard but very beneficial. I try to focus on my life, needs & goals & keep attending therapy & I read a ton of self-help. I really hope Coach revisits his back-burner idea of a book now that his courses are done & live. Would love to have him in my library. I still think about & love my ex but I'm able to live my life & focus on family, friends & my passion, writing. It's really helped me not only cope with this but create something beautiful, like a pheonix from the proverbial ashes. I'm not yet at the point I want to be before I write to Coach, but someday in the not so distant future I'm going to have a success story for him. It does get a bit easier guys. Use Craig to get you through the worst of it, he & his team (RIP dear Maggie Mea) were such a comfort in dark days.

Dated a few guys in 60 days, it's a cruel world out there man. I broke no contact my ex said she was happy I reached out that she had a lot to say, she would message me after work . Two days later not a peep, I've lost and now I get to feel like I did from day one, when I get there I'll remember how much of a 🤡 I felt like and finally move on .
