PlanForm| How to Quickly Compare Changes in PDF Drawings?

Open the Two PDF Drawings thru PlanForm
If they’re multi-page PDFs, make sure to navigate to the specific pages you want to compare.
Click on ‘Compare Drawings’

If you have multiple files open, you can select the correct pages for comparison.
Then, just click ‘Start Compare’
Black: Indicates content that is the same in both drawings.
Red: Content that exists only in Drawing A.
Green: Content that exists only in Drawing B.

PDF drawings often have issues like differing scales or shifted positions
To resolve this, you’ll need to set alignment points:
Click ‘Set Reference Points’.
Select two points on Drawing A that also exist on Drawing B.
Tips for Accurate Alignment

Choose two points that are as far apart as possible to improve scale accuracy.
Zoom in while selecting the points for better precision.
Ensure the points are selected in the same base point on both drawings.

Once aligned, click ‘Compare’ again to generate accurate results.
The comparison creates a new file with the differences clearly marked.
This new file can be easily annotated, shared, or viewed in other software.
