One thing or rather one attitude which I like most about the developers over at Cockos is that they seem to listen and are willing to adapt when it makes sense.
Take for example what you mentioned at 8:12 regarding the custom actions window. Instead of "window needs to be closed when editing other stuff, because we designed it that way" it is now "hey actually that was a good suggestion by the community, let's rethink our design decision there and make the window stay open".
There's a lot more conservative developers out there with the "it's been this way for years and it will stay this way" attitude.
As you said: Small change but big improvement.
Apart from that, big thx for keeping these videos coming, Jon. Super helpful.

Glad they put in the portamento. That's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to one day have more freedom with custom toolbars/menu and where they are placed, as well is a little bit more flexibility with docking.

The FX browser updates were very needed and welcome. Not it's only left to be able to add custom tags to plugins: e.g "compressor" "la-2a emulation" "program-dependant" and then to be able to search by tags. Probably rating them to 1 to 5 would be nice too.
This is possible now by editing the plugin name, but then the name becomes bloated.

Haha, just FM synthesis and there will be no need to use ableton.

It would also be useful to optimize the Rea Eq to use half the CPU when the signal is mono.

nice little update as always from them. I've always found RS5k to be a bit of a joke though. Gotta stack like 10 of them in a track to do anything useful like a fake drum machine. lol
