I love AO. I mainly use Busterse for bus comp. Big fan of the 1176 and LA2A copies.

Love AO plugins although as a downside they can sometimes be a little buggy. Make sure you save regularly!

use a bunch of them > Db Comp, Prebox (love it), Tuba,
his Channel strips are really good, too... Atone, Channev, Brit

i do work on a serious studio and we do use it since 2022 for many tracks we record, the studio engineer thinks is so good that we do record vocals and drums with their plugins on the input channel, meaning we can't take it off after the record is done, yeah its good

I haven't checked them out recently... I noticed they were pretty good when he first started adding ant-aliasing... Quite a while ago. (Still at the beginning of the video about to listen to your samples and take another look at analog obsession for the first time in a while.) I'll chime back in after the video.

You missed and should def try and review what I consider to be a less talked about hidden gem in his line up, and that is the BlENDEQ this is really a greet sounding EQ and is unique in the fact it lets you blend between 2 completely dif EQ Models from what I remember a Neve & API this is a must try on a complete mix, please let us know what you think.

Nobrainer for free! Yes they are really good and the GUIs are to the point.

Acoustica may have had a bit more air, it maybe it just did better things in the highs.... But it was a very solid substitution for some of your favorite plugins. Yeah... I don't like SSL's software stuff either.... So I wasn't counting that one. The glue is a good one

I agree that Acustica Audio equalizers (and compressors) are the best in The digital domain. Universal Audio Pultec EQs are as good as the AA Purple though

In your last full mix comparison I heard a little more fundamental in the low end. Nothing that couldn't be modifed with the EQ or parameters.
