I can't say that it's"typical". Real estate in Moscow is not cheap. These apartments are more for rent. It is also more like temporary housing for students or young people who want to move to Moscow, but don’t have money for a normal apartment yet.

It’s pretty tiny! My seniors apartment is small but it has a decent sized bedroom and bathroom. My kitchen is compact, attached to the living room/dining room. I have a balcony as well! These are micro studios!❤🇨🇦

a bit higher up with a balcony i definately could live there, small space means less to heat and less to keep clean, so lots of money left to spend on other things
