I think this list needs to be split further, express and nestjs are pure backend framework / tools. Express having little to no opinion on architecture while nest being the complete opposite. Nearly all the rest of the tools here are not high scale enterprise frameworks, they are full stack toys, great for small contract work but would never ever recommend any truly big SaaS to use them.

They should list Backend frameworks, Jamstack, edge frameworks separately

Why didn't they separate complete backend frameworks and frameworks for building SSRs (Server Side Rendering) this combination doesn't make a lot of sense to me. In as much as express can serve static files is not enough to lump it up with all these SSR frameworks

Only ask because when I ask people, what framework should I be using as a freelance developer I get these replies... Node.Js, next.js, and dart... And some even said look at Golang and Figma.... Because I wasn't to cover fullstack mobile and web.... and if I asked them in my web3 Buddies, they all say learn javascript, HTML /CSS and add on rust and web assembly and use this in flutter (sorry for the spelling)... would you have any suggestions for me? Only knowasof now html/css, Linux, Mysql (using GUI method) and very little JavaScript... have my software systems engineering degree as of New Year's 2023, and plan on studying a text back or two over the next year before applying for jobs or doing freelance work ( the goal is to build up a massive portfolio showcasing my work as well as to gain the knowledge over the year of 2023) thanks for the video and take care 😎✌️

I guess it's a good place to start, but some applications end up so large over the years, that deciding now what framework is a crapshoot at best. This is especially true for large ERP/CRM applications. How your decision made today will stand against time and the critical eyes of the developers who will maintain it. What is the horizon of your app?

How popular is next js in backend part i haven't seen any project that relies on next js for backend. Mostly i have seen people using next for frontend and express/nest for backend
