This is what today's Slavs have to know and feel about theirs origin and roots. As a native Czech, I've been seeing really stupid conspiracists lately who say that we Czechs are Celts or Germans and that we aren't Slavs and similar nonsense. Is important to remember that it was Slavic society and culture that built the foundations of the future nation and state. Without the Slavs, there would be no Czechs, Czech lands, Czech language and Czech identity. Sure, today there are already no pure-blooded Slavs anywhere and influence of other cultures that resided in ours territory totally makes sense. But this is the case with all Slavic nations today (and not only Slavic of course). Some of us are more influenced by Germans, some by Turks, some by Greeks, some by Asians and some by Illyrians, but the root and the origin is and always will be Slavic. Sláva rodu!

Various forces from outside try to divide us for ages because together we represent a huge part of Europe! That’s why they made polish people to hate Russians, Croatian with Serbians, now Ukrainians with Russians!! If we realize that together we are the one big slavic family we are undefeatable! Slava rodu a matke zemi nasej, pozdravujem zo Slovenska 🇸🇰

The Slavs are the original Indo-Europeans who formed a community back in the European Neolithic era. They are divided into a northern branch (dominant haplogroup R1a-Z283) and a southern branch (dominant haplogroup I2-L621). So there was no immigration because the Slavic community has been in the territories it still inhabits since the Neolithic.

There was a mistake in the video. Baga the Indo-Iranian word for God is a cognate of the Slavic Bog. The ancient name Baghdad, Bagdata comes from ancient Iranian meaning Given by God (Baga).

Anatole Klyosov's genealogy shows haplogroup I2A (Dinaric) across Europe going back 20, 000 years and archeological digs turn up ever increasingly older findings. The Slav migration from some marsh is 100% false. I2A and R1A are the natives of Europe. Deal with it!.

What do you mean the Slavic word for god has no Indo-European equivalents? The Iranian word for deity is Baga. Baga-data -God's gift, the capital of Iraq founded by the Persians.

Romania is a Latin island in the middle of the Slavic sea; which is a dangerous location. Around Romania, the South Slavs (Serbs, Croats, Bosnians, Macedonians, Slovenians) had wars in the nineties. Nowdays, the Eastern Slavs (Russians, Ukrainians) have war too. Too much bloodshed in the Slavic countries.

one serious note cyril and methodius weren't converting pagans, they were invited as a geopolitical move as the vatican refused to give greater moravia a bishopric, keeping it under the heel of east francia's bishops

Shout out to Slavic Affairs for having the MUDA to post a proper vid on our origins knowing full well having to deal with the maniacs who push theories that aren't worth the toilet paper people use around the world.

I'm Russian and I study traditional Slavic clothes with an emphasis on Russians. Our slavic clothes carry very ancient symbolism. For example, married women wore horns (remember the goat or cow mask worn during christmas during kolyada singing? 😉) to symbolize fertility, women were associated with water fowl, and the colour red symbolized beauty and health (Slavs love wearing red).

Also, a LOT of proto indo european symbolism was preserved by the Slavs.

Considering all Slavs have this deeply engained culture, we know Slavs are a lot more ancient and complex of a society than people think we are!!

Peace to all ❤️

This video is nonsense. I was born in Poland and took an Ancestry DNA test and it showed i was 95% Polish. Us Polish people, and Slavics in general were not "mixed" and we were never a "melting pot". And you also use the term "diversity". These are propaganda terms and not accurate of us Polish people AT ALL. Calling us primitive and simple is a misnomer as well, as if living off the land is somehow disgraceful or incongruent with existing in 500BC. If you want primitive, look at Africans. Not a good video. Long live Europa and the European people. Do not fall for "mixing" with other cultures (multi-culturalism). NWO propaganda bs! This is why you should do real research and not let A.I. do all your work for you when certain entities want to create certain narratives.

I can say that I have learned a lot just by reading the comments. Good points from a lot of people. One thing i know for sure is that trying to decipher history based on some artifacts can be very difficult

🇭🇷🇺🇦 Croatia is named after White Croats, Bili Horvati, who came in the 7th century from ancient pagan White Croatia once located in Ukraine, south-eastern Poland, north-eastern Slovakia-Czechia and Hungary.

When Hungarians conquered slavic Pannonia province in the 9th century, southern Red Croatia separated from pagan White Croatia .

In Western Ukraine today still live ethnic White Croats and there is settlement of Stilsko, capital city of pagan Croats.

Croatia and Ukraine together celebrate common ethnic heritage of ancient Croat people ❤.

12 :14 The man named Saul of Tarsus ( the Apostle Paul) brought Christianity to Europe sometime between 30 to 50. He died as a martyr for his faith in 67 in Rome.
Acts of Apostles 16, 9
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a Macedonian was standing there urging him and saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us!"
(Acts of Apostles 16 : 12 -15) Lydia of Thyatira is a woman mentioned in the New Testament, who is regarded as the first documented convert to Christianity in Europe.

A few corrections in regards to slavic mythology, Perun wasn't the supreme God, just the most wildly worshiped one, same goes for Veles. More likely ones were Svarog or Rod (Rod, whos real name is lost and just means family, is an older deity who got replaced by the worship of the individual Gods, while Svarog, being the blacksmith God is sometimes interpreted as in literally smithing the world into being, often from Rods corpse). Slavs being farmers and hunters, their main gods being one that controls the forests and one that controls weather just makes sense, seeing as those would be the ones most people prayed to. Veles himself was never portrayed as an evil God, just the guardian and personification of nature. And since the Slavs viewed the universe as one massive tree and the underworld as endless forests and meadows, it makes sense that he would be the guardian of the underworld aswell. In a lot of places in Eastern Europe the tribes would venerate Veles as their chief diety and protector (usually tribes who lived more of off hunting and herding cattle than farming), this isn't something thats done for an evil or trickster God!
