It’s funny how Sams was such a badass on the stage mocking and ridiculing Mr. Clark and even telling him to “SMD” ..Then after he was expelled he was crying and begging Mr. Clark to let him back in school and was worried about what “mama” was going to do to him.. Classic!

Joe Clark did indeed expel some 300 students when he first became principal of Eastside High. However, I think he did it over a period of weeks instead of just one day. I doubt he had enough security personnel to pull it off the way he did it in the movie, but it made a great scene.

If we had teachers like this today and the ability to do it without consequence, kids wouldn’t grow up to be like animals as so many have become. World would be a better place for it.
