She prefers a deep and honorable bow from her applebees server

Okay I take it back then. Worry about it.

Ugh this is such a weird generational divide. To younger people say no problem/worries genuinly feels more polite than you're welcome (which feels kinda haughty and entitled in contrast). Delta needs to get over herself and realize that as time passes so does casual language. The poor server was doing their best to seem polite and this is what they get in return lololol

I say "No Worries" all the time, because we can literally fix any problem. So I let people who are nice know that it's NO WORRIES.

Sounds like you’re worried at this point 😂

if you’re actually grateful, you wouldn’t care how the other person responds. someone is going out of their way to serve you, even if they’re compensated for that time. try saying thank you like you actually mean it.

I say “Of course”
Because usually I am happy to be doing the task anyway, but if I’m having to preform a task either way I’m doing it. Of course, I’m here aren’t I?

Seriousness aside, this is a really funny take to me. “Well, I wasn’t worried about it.” 😂😂😂

I feel you Delta, some of these comments against you are ridiculous 🙄

All of these are Australian for “you’re welcome” 😂

This is such a non topic really. I understand some of the things Delta rant about from time to time, but this, this is not it. Like why are we complaining about nothing?

No problem: you are asking me to do something that can be done without issue or burden
No worries: again, more of a reassurance that the customer isn't being annoying

Love it when Delta goes off on all the little tidbits & irritants of modern life...although I can't say the term "No Worries" sets me off. LOL.

The one time that Delta was ever wrong

I say “no worries” but it’s specifically in response to people who seem panicked or rushed at work. Ex: can you please get this to me within the hour?

i always say “no problem” because to me “youre welcome” means im taking pride (for lack of better word) in what i did for the other person like meaning it took effort but when i say “no problem” to me that means it wasnt a big deal so no need to thank me idk

I totally get what Delta is saying…I can’t stand it either, but people have become more comfortable with saying No Worries, No Problem, instead of just saying You’re Welcome.

Maybe it's just a shift in lingo. When I say no worries or no problem, I'm not implying you were worried or that there was a problem. It's just another way I say you're welcome or I got you covered.
