My expensive flex head Snap-On flashlight that I paid over 125$ for a lifetime warranty!! Had the magnet fall out so I gave it to my Snap On dealer to get it replaced!

Well apparently a lifetime for Snap On is 5 years… Cause that’s how old my light is… I was incredibly disappointed. I was always under the impression if they stopped producing a tool they would swap it out for the equivalent that is available! I was sadly mistaken… Will make me reconsider future purchases. Lifetime has always only applied to hand tools, like sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers and moving parts on toolboxes etc, it’s why you’ll see a lot of guys with big snap on socket draws but all Milwaukee power tools. It’s not worth it.

Had my paps set of snap on tools from the late 60’s to 70’s, despite their age the snap on guy fixed the only broken socket (the bit broke and fell out) in the tool set.

Either he was an ass and didn’t want to give away the new tool, he didn’t have the tool, ore something else, lifetime warranty should mean LIFETIME warranty
