Thank you so much! It is winter, and I could not get my car to start automatically. I had the two batteries touching. I didn't know to place that battery paper between the batteries. Now, I can use my automatic starter. No more running outside in the cold to defrost and warm up my car. Hallelujah!

OMG!!! THAT was so simple!!! Thank you!!! I have been without my 2nd remote for about 4 years because my husband dropped it and it was in pieces. But, after watching and following your simple video, I have put it back together myself. The metal piece that attaches the key ring had also de-attached and not even Ford Customer Service could put it back together for me. They tried twice. I had to change the battery on my other remote so I dug out the pieces from this remote and was successfully able to put it back together. Now I kind of feel like an idiot that I didn’t try to put it back together myself sooner. If you want it done (and done right), do yourself!!! Just don’t wait 4 years!!! :)

Thanks. Just spent about 20 minutes doing my replacement. Following Ford's instructions it took two days. You need a video on the finger snap battery unpacking . I'd pay!

THANK YOU for clearly showing the positive/negative orientation of the two batteries! The first three videos I watched covered up the batteries with the guy's fingers so there was no way to see which way they must be oriented. Can't believe how so many posters mess up this simple process.
