Most parents would have been screaming, "I shouldn't have left then", not defending their action which were actually unlawful.

Let’s not forget that this is two doctors. Health professionals never ever support ANYONE sharing a toothbrush, for all sorts of reasons. Equally they wouldn’t support leaving young children unattended in a foreign country. Why on earth wouldn’t they have ANYTHING with her DNA with them? Hairbrush? Clothes? Toy? Very weird.

Kate has already proven without realising it that the abduction didn't take place.
She said upon her second visit to the kids room that the curtains, WHICH WERE PREVIOUSLY DRAWN TOO, blew apart.
So the abductor left via the window, paused and drew the curtains back together

I recently watched the story of a couple on the east coast of Canada whose little boy disappeared. It’s been a couple of years, and they are absolutely wrecked. They break down crying frequently, and they have never stopped hoping and are still searching long after the police have given up. The mom is too broken to do much more with her appearance than tie her hair back. No make up because it wouldn’t stay on anyway. That to me is what a true grieving parent of a missing child looks like.

Mrs Fenn, the upstairs resident, reported a child crying and calling for her daddy for more than an hour two nights before the tragedy. The McCanns themselves have stated (and tried to minimise) how, the next morning, Maddie herself asked why they did not come when the twins were crying . This would seem to reinforce the theory that they decided they needed to give her somewhat more sedative than usual.

i can’t believe you didn’t mention them calling her “compact”??? very weird way to describe your missing child. “she was just really compact and just a really kind of nice round perfect head” wtf? almost like they had to fit her body somewhere small when they hid it or something

Last comment: and it fits that they are sedating their children. How they dealt with the twins instantly speaks for two little zombies. And if you hear the timelines from police interviews from Richard D Hall, they were the whole day dealing with themselves. Holidays are formhaving time with your kids. But they went to the child service at the hotel, played tennis, go to the sea without kids, played tennis, showered, and so on. And even one of their friends „the Tapaz 7“ asked her: why must they in bed so early. They put the kids to the child service and brought them to bed at 5 or 6. they only saw them for eating lunch and making the kids ready for bed. Insane. At holiday I organise my whole day around my child.

I’ve studied psychology for years and whilst at summer school we talked about this case and I always said she’d been over sedated by mistake. I don’t like to think it was on purpose to kill her but I think Kate was a little intoxicated and gave her too much. They then panicked and started the cover up. I didn’t know it was a common belief.
My biggest suspicion about their story was when Kate washed cuddle cat. No parent that’s ever lost a child washes their favourite toy. That’s the one thing you hold onto and keep smelling or cuddling, it brings the only sense of closeness you can have. Getting rid of the last thing she touched is very odd behaviour.

Firstly, if you forgive the correction, Praia da Luz is not the name of the resort; it's the name of the small town where the seaside resort was located. I use the past tense because that holiday getaway is no longer in business. Now, if it's red flags you seek, here's a mountain of them for you: that precious child wasn't yet gone 48 hours and the British authorities, including the Scotland Yard, had descended from "on high" and taken over the investigation, making absolutely sure to criticize and publicly malign every effort brought to bear by the Portuguese police services and special investigators. Knowing all this, the only question is -- Why?

Why didn’t Kate shout out I can’t find Madeleine not some ones taken her. Because Madeleine could have just walked outside the room trying to find her parents.

As a mother of two and a teacher of 3 and 4 year olds, the last song I would sing to a child I wanted to calm down or even sleep would be 'if you're happy and you know it...'

The McMcann’s live 10 miles down the road from me! And I can tell you that if I left my kids home alone and went to the pub and something bad happened to one of the kids? The police and social services would kick my door in and take the other children off me and I would be arrested for child neglect! Why everyone bends the knee to the McMcann’s I really don’t know but it drives me mad. 😡😡

I remember the parents were told M wasn’t feeling very well when they collected the kids from the creche/kids club. I was very surprised they still went out that evening & left her alone. Personally Id have stayed in & got Gerry or a friend to bring my food to the apartment, especially as she had been crying the night before as she apparently woke up & had asked where they were. Very strange parenting from all of that group.

We believe she was in that church, hidden under another corpse of an English lady held in Luz church until the day when the coffin of this lady was due to be collected the ne t day for to the police authorities, the age and size of Maddy’s cadaver could have been hidden underneath the corpse of the lady who’s coffin it was, this would transport the corpse’s for incineration without any detection…..Didn’t the Roman Catholic Priest give the McCanns a key to that church to come and go as they wished to ‘pray’ for Madeleine? The McCanns had access and the police authorities said it was very ‘’’possible’’’ to hide Maddy’s corpse under another cadaver without any detection…..

My daughter is about the same age; my son is six years older. In the UK there were constant warnings not to leave small children alone - it was standard advice and drilled into you. Likewise the consequences of leaving small children alone was well understood - you'd have your children taken away from you even if they came to no harm. It was completely shocking to everyone that they left three small children alone in an unlocked room so they could go out to dinner with their friends. She is trying so hard to normalise it as though anyone might have done it, but the truth is that it wasn't normal or reasonable and as a GP she would have known this advice even more than a lay person. Yet somehow her and her husband managed to silence any criticism of their behaviour. Instead of removing the other two children and prosecuting them for child neglect, the narrative was that they had already been punished enough. Except even if you take their story - which is obviously a lie - on face value it still doesn't get them off the hook for child neglect. So what are they hiding behind all their rehearsed stories and media training that is worse than child neglect? Compare Kate's behaviour to that of Kerry Needham and you can see she's lying. We can all feel there's something wrong in this story. And yet they have never been held to account.

There's another possibility. Instead of the meds knocking her out all night, Madeleine awoke. Maybe due to a built-up tolerance, or Madeleine outgrowing her previous dose. She starts playing in the apartment, falls, and dies of whatever injuries she received. One theory is that she fell behind the couch, couldn't free herself, and died of positional asphyxia. This would explain the cadaver dog alerting behind the couch, and the other guest hearing a small child crying and calling for her daddy one night.
