Explanations are a bit to fast, but it stresses on the idea of what can be done. Many thanks and have a nice day.

Some tips:
- You should use preview scaling along with proxy mode. You still had some slow downs when playing your timeline. That's cause proxy only makes files that are easier to play. Preview scaling temporarily reduces the resolution so it's easier to play when you are using filters and overlays. So when you use preview scaling with proxy it should cover lag from all angles. You could also use preview scaling by itself and see if it's good enough for you without proxy but if it's still lags a lot then combine it with proxy.
- Since you are doing a lot of keyframing then you should use the "fx" layout. It's right next to "editing". The fx layout puts the keyframe window right next to the filters window so you don't have to keep switching.
- You don't have to turn the keyframe button on to use simple keyframes which is when you were pulling out the corners. They are there already available in the keyframe menu. The button is for advanced keyframes.
- In the keyframe window you'll see two sets of buttons ( [ ] and { } ). Those buttons are for the simple keyframes and they are also the shortcut keys for them. The first 2 buttons are to set the start and end of the filter. The second 2 buttons are to do the simple keyframe animation. They are set wherever you have the playhead at. This makes it a lot quicker then having to drag out or in.

Thank you for the tips with filter transitions, I was doing some editing on interview video, and every time I use the default transition (cross fade between clips) I need to sync the audio again and again which is inconvenient, but with this I just need to add the filter to one clip without changing the positions/durations of the other clips.

I am a subscriber, and really appreciate your content. I am actually going to go back, and look at your whole library as I am a fan of Shotcut. The only thing so far that I am having a real difficulty with is narration or talk over. I am using Shotcut in Linux, but it honestly doesn't look any different than Windows. There used to be a button for sound under "open other" then direct, but it looks like they took it out. Is there a new way to do voice overs? And if so, I would like to see a video on that. For now I have been just recording in Linux then putting it in as a wav, but that is cumbersome. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks again for the awesome explanations, and examples. I always look forward to new video's from you.

Thanks for the video! I have another request for a video for you. How do you rewind a clip? Say I jump into a swimming pool. How do I rewind the splash if you will? I don't mean just go back on the timeline. I am referring to showing the rewind but moving forward on the timeline at the same time. Does that make sense?
