It's been really windy no rain down in the city of SB today. But prayers for the people in the mountains I see on the big bear eagle cam. Lots of snow up there..

Nature is wonderful, soon the area will have lush greenery everywhere and Reservoirs full, Wild flowers, Rivers flushed, good fishing and boating, for all to admire and enjoy!

Great news! This is so normal and happens regularly throughout time. I remember up in Running Springs up in the San Bernardino Mountains during the later 70's and early 80's we had multiple years of atmospheric rivers. 10 Feet of snow was totally common. Yes, roads were shut down many times in school was canceled for extended periods of time. There were mudslides later on and fires and everything that's happening now. It's all in a cycle and there's absolutely nothing new to see here. Unfortunately our supposed leaders will not save one single ounce of any of this major rainfall and snow pack that we have right now. It will all be heading out into the ocean and we will be as unprepared as we always are when the cycle of lighter rain comes back, which it will of course.
