22/09/2024 – Amber rain warning – Met Office weather forecast UK

This is a Met Office UK Weather forecast looking at the Amber warning for rain in parts of England on 23/09/2024.

The unsettled weather conditions will continue with a low pressure system centred southwestern England, bringing heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms. Bringing you this forecast is Met Office Meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey.

So basically it’s the weather that northern UK has had since last year, but except it’s southern UK that’s getting the rains 😂

Imagine this being a 2007 flood like event because Gloucester got 78mm in 12hours and we could get that tomorrow and I have college tomorrow so I don’t know if they will cancel it or not because that’s a hell of a lot of rain.

Yellow patch over north lincs but only pale blue. Looking at the map it should've gone from se to nw
