Omg....thank you SO much!! I was so frustrated that I forgot about unplugging my t.v. to do a hard reset!! I have a Samsung tv that will go from 6 or 7 to 50 by itself! Unplugging it fixed it. Again, a million thanks to you!!

The best thing to do with a Sharp TV is take it back to the shop and swap it for something else.

If it is out of warranty, i reccommend putting your boot through the screen.

Macbook Pro and new HDMI cable with an old TV my friend found... sometimes the input goes on and off every second (affecting the Mac screen too), and once the TV said "an incompatible video signal". But since I watched your video I remembered to try holding the TV off button for 10 seconds (untill the red light fades) and on again, and it works temporarily

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I have a Sharp LC-52LE810UN, worked for 10 years no problems, until now that after 1 hour of being on, it starts flickering. (image and sound still on). I disconnected all devices and just the TV does it. I reset, initial setup again and still does it. When I turn it off the screen gives three or four flashes and off. I couldn't find any of your videos with same issue. Please advise so I can start looking for the problem. Thanks. Keep the good sharing.

Hi picture quality very good.Recently had same problem shutting off and on, at any time. To the point now not able to shut on or off.Tried unplugging outlet, still same problem, hope not too expensive to repair.I think it's recurring problem.

Hi, thanks for the video.
I turned on my TV today for the first time in a few weeks and it's displaying tv channels but all hdmi ports aren't showing video. The hdmi ports are showing in the inputs and even show what's connected to it (ie "receiver") but no image. I've done a hard reset, factory reset and usb update and the hdmi ports still do the same thing. Is it safe to say it's time to replace the main board?

Hi Tampatec :). Your video is great!! Thank you. But mine is a sharp aquous quattron bought in 2011. I get the power v flashing - in white..two blinks at a time. I tried to reset, unplugging, and plugging and the other way holding volume down and channel up and turn on power button holding at the same time. I heard the click but no image. just the same blinking after a while. Strange, cause the tv was always fine, until someone came to instal cable tv and pressed all the digital buttons at the same time, now I dont get the tv on again. Can you make a video on my case please or give me some guidance to what shall I do to have it fixed the easiest and cheapest way. Thanks so much.

Great Video Thank you. I'm trying to get the sound back on the TV - 46D62U - it was turned off for an amp to supply the sound. On your reset with the plugin and the -vol and the other key I did get sounnd back but it was fixed. The menu option - output select would not move from fixed to variable. The next reset with -vol and -channel moved it to variable but then audio was off. On my remote i can't seem to get the to change the selected item the C / D is in the manual but they take me back to the live screen and the vol button does not work. Any suggestions? I do get to the service menu but not sure the setting to restore sound to variable.

We were watching our sharp aquos 80 inch and it made a snapping sound like a firecracker and dead. Any ideas what the problem can be? We love this tv and dont want to replace it if we dont have to. 😪

I am hoping you are willing to answer my question regarding my Sharp Aquos LCD TV
I just acquired yesterday. Got it for free from a moving sale. However, they didn't give me the remote, nor did I ask for it. (I didn't think about it at the time) ;(
So, now I cannot change the input. And, idk if somehow I'm just NOT seeing it, but, I don't see the "Menu" button ANYWHERE ON THIS THING.
So, I'm stuck because on all the videos the first step says "push the menu button on the front of your TV".
.., Yeah, I cannot. It doesn't have one or I cannot find it for some Twilight Zone reason. Lol
Anyway, if you know of anyway other than using the menu button, to switch over from TV to input..., I'd really appreciate the information. Or any advice you could share would be wonderful.

hi, I have a sharp lc-46xl2e and it wont switch on anymore, although the LED in the front lights up. I replaced the power board but still have the same problem.Can you give me any hints? Is there an auxiliary power board that powers just the stand by circuitry?thank much! RegardsJan
