How to fix lcd lines on Sharp tv screen, hdmi video board repair

Awesome! my TV just started doing this and I was upset we would be out of an awesome Sharp TV.
Ordered the part and the lines are gone.

You make soldering look easy! I don't have a lot of experience at it but am trying to re-learn how to do it. I bought a 60W soldering iron but it doesn't seem to get hot enough. The solder doesn't melt when I apply the very tip of the soldering iron. My main problem I am having is trying to de-solder where a capacitor was, I have the old capacitor out but one of the legs broke off and can't get the solder to come off even when I use the de-soldering braid. Any suggestions? Thanks again for the great videos.

I would really really appreciate and I'm sure a lot of other people with the same problem as well if you can make some videos on fixing the ps 3d tv, I know you have a couple but none have to do with my problem, my lcd screen is black and full of lines I can hear the TV but no image like I said only lines, thanks for your time...

Hi TampaTec- I love your channel! Can you give me your opinion of this? Sharp LC40E67UN - from right side to center - 1/2 inch black line 1/3 way down from top on screen. It changes color depending on background.. UNDER the line the image is blurry/doubled - just on the right side of screen... I have changed out T-con, no change.... thoughts?

hi, i have a bush lcdtv32009hd that trips the electric when switched on, i have disconnected everything from the power supply board except the ac in and it still trips the electric, i cant see any obvious problems on the board, any ideas where i should start testing? thanks for the awesome videos that i'm working through, all the best, mike

I have a dead row of pixels, in the past I was able to squeeze the edge of the TV near the line and it would come back, but now it will not come back. Is this all so a Solder issue?

Would you ever recommend reflowing the t-con board before soldering?

Will you have this symptom on all inputs? I see the lines on the TV input, which presumably uses the internal TV channel selector. We don't use it, only using the HDMI inputs and although there is nothing but snow on the TV input, we still see green lines.

Tampatec Thanks so much for what you do.  Are you located in Tampa, FL.  I have used many of your tutorials.  I am currently stuck on my insignia NSLCD52hd09.  House struck by lightning.  So I guess it would be a power surge.  Turn on and led blinks blue couple of times and shuts off.  Obviously its a fail safe. Somethings not working right and it shuts off tv.  I cant see any capacitors showing like their bad with a bulge top and I don't have a special meter or oscilo scope so.  Inverter panels "look" ok but i dont know what to do.  Its was a good tv. Anyt houghts.
