With the release of the teal mask dlc for pokemon scarlet and violet I wanted to try today to see if kieran from kitakami can beat pokemon scarlet? is he able to conquer all of paldea.

I felt bad for Kieran. My first time going through the DLC I didn't even have an overleveled team but with max EVs/IVs on them all he didn't stand a chance even though they made him really try. And the second time I brought one level 100 mon and then put together a new team of randos out of the DLC mons and he still stood no chance because I'm so addicted to EV training that I've done that for the new team as well. Honestly I wish there was a way to tell Kieran how to *really* be strong instead of just beating him and walking away with Ogerpon 😅

Kieran's team on my Grass monotype playthrough was terrifying. Specifically his Yanmega. Took numerous tries and a lucky affection survive from my Torterra to finally beat the thing. Obviously, I wanted to do it for Ogrepon, but yeesh.

Kieran kicked my gh-ass-tly while I was playing through the dlc, those last 2 fights against him were ROUGH for me. I used strategies in a battle for the 1st ever 😂

In my original playthrough I actually forgot about Katy and played the whole game and realized I didn’t beat her until level 50😂

If returning pokemon are included, Yanmega is my favorite Kitakami pokemon (partially thanks to Kieran). If not, it's definitely Ogerpon

I feel bad for him. Like he's gone through so much. He almost got his favorite Pokémon. But then we took it from him. But then he decides to be a jerk in the second part. Thinking that he'll be stronger. But with all that training. We still beat him. So I have some advice for him. Make your team level 100! Kieran If you make your team level 100. You will never lose.

The best Pokémon from Kitakami is DEFINITELY that Ursaluna! I know it’s not originally from Gen 9, but you encounter it in this game so I count him

My favorite new pokemon in Kitakami DLC is tied between Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Ogerpon. My favorite old pokemon in Kitakami DLC is my former mascot, Ribombee before my current mascot, Mabosstiff take the spot.

When I went to the area you found the sandslash, I found a shiny nosepass near the sky. Weird thing was it was standing in a circle perfectly still with other nosepass. I was scared it was just a statue but thankfully it wasn’t!
