YO WHAT!? Eri and Mela basically look like entirely different ppl when they are not in costume 😮 Its insane!! Eri looks so pretty without all that face paint and while I prefer Mela's wild look, her regular style is really cute too 😊

Hot take: I really appreciate normal attire Mela. I feel it helps flesh her characterization a lot more and adds a lot of emphasis to the conversation you have with her later in this mission. You really get to see her as more than a one-note character and I appreciate that a lot

I do remember that Eri said Mela was bullied primarialy for gir in school because she was pretty, and that's why she uses a lot of aggresive make up and is a badmouth, to cover for her innocent look. 😂 Now I understand that story. She really is cute!

Makeup and platform boots really can change how someone looks. Personally, while I love Eri and Mela's original designs, their regular school appearances are cute too, and makes it more believable that they were bullied.

Personally I was a huge fan of what they did with the Team Star bosses looks when they're dressed normal for school. It brings them down to earth a bit more and kinda shows their "dorky" or "nerdy" sides that would've gotten them bullied in the first place.

Eri was whiplash for me, but I appreciated that whiplash.

I honestly dont mind the team star bosses without their standard outfits i thought eri looked cute and mela had her true colors show when i first got the side quest I spent 20 minutes looking for them because i didnt notice them without their usual outfits
