My backup PC might be a good test for this OS.
It's a RX 7600 XT 16GB paired with a 5700X3D on Windows 11 and gets good performance at 1080p.

The advantage of the PC is that u can go with dual boot with Windows and Linux like Bazzite and enjoy both worlds. Its great to see how Linux gaming has progressed over years mostly thx to Valve and Steam Deck. Future looks definitely bright for Linux gaming👍

I really should consider using Bazzite. I like the Steam Deck options, it's an immutable version of Fedora that I use and I normally use Flatpak anyways.

I installed SteamOS on my gaming pc over the weekend and I've been getting good 1440 performance off a 7600XT and a Ryzen 5500. Love the UX, it's perfect if you want your PC to behave like a console, which I did in this case.

Bazzite is great. I have it running on a 6th gen NUC. It feels like steam os and has most of the same functionality

Getting two test systems with Bazzite up and running. Both with a 3900x and rx 6600 from spare parts. Hopefully I can leave my windows system for more demanding titles.
