I recently made the switch from pc to next gen console. I was running a i7 8750h with a 1060 with 16 gigs of ram, not a bad system. It ran 120-144 FPS, but the hoops I had to jump through to get a decent input delay were ridiculous (and yes I had an external monitor).There were so many updates and alternate programs I had installed to optimize my fps/input delay/controller/ping, it was just too much. After getting a series S for 300$, it started to put perform my 1500$ gaming laptop instantly. The delay was smoother (not necessarily quicker) than my gaming laptop, but I was just glad to have something that ran a even more consistent FPS, input delay and ping than my laptop. I’d only suggest using a PC if it’s one with really nice specs, because starting at 300$, you can get a next gen console and really start to improve.

Thank you bro for making this video. I’ve come across so many pc players saying ps5 is the same as a pc and it pisses me off cause they don’t know what we’re struggling with and since they see us with 120 fps they think our issues are all solved but that’s just not the case
