Tip: If the Mouse Keys isn't checked when you try this method, try checking it, wait for a couple minutes, then uncheck and apply. This worked for me.

Thanks for this video. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the weird problem I just started having because of a dumb mistake I made in that I cleaned the screen of my laptop and keyboard last night without turning it off last night, and now the PgDn and PgUp and sometimes the down and up arrows won't work. I wasn't sure if your video would be relevant, but I did try it, and the box to turn off mouse keys was already unchecked. I can temporarily fix the problem by pressing F3, but only for 1 or 2 scrolls, and then the same problem occurs. I feel like I toggled a function key I should not have, but for the life of me can't figure it out even with all the tutorials out there. Do you have any suggestions? TIA!!!

This helped for sure! This video came up first for me through my Lenovo Start menu tray Search. This solution did confuse me, however, with why the Mouse Keys had to be turned OFF. I don't fully get this. I'll check it out later on my own, but for this Comment, I'll admit I do not know exactly what Mouse Keys are. And then I wondered how the Mouse Keys got turned on in the first place, - or said differently, how did the problem arise in the first place? I ask this somewhat rhetorically because the video strictly helped with the problem, not with understanding how the problem came into existence - you see, I'd like to prevent this problem from happening again, or at least be knowledgeable of whatever I may have done to have set it off. Also, when I tried to come back to this video, Bing did not want to propagate this video: I had to go directly to the YouTube website first, then search by name for this video to see it again (I wanted to "thumbs-up" it, "favorite" the website in my browser, and subscribe). Thank you again, this was helpful.
