The best investors in the world have a side job in Congress.

Many members of US Congress have consistently outperformed the stock market indexes. In this video we follow 5 members of congress through their past trading history as well as their most recent major stock acquisition. First we cover Marjorie Taylor Greene's buy into Applied Materials (AMAT), a bet on semiconductor fabrication. Second, we cover Josh Gottheimer, a well known congress trader who is buying up Apple (AAPL). Next is Markwayne Mullin with his investment in the cybersecurity stock CyberArk (CYBR), a small but growing security company.
Then we get into the big traders in congress. Nancy Pelosi has been heavily involved in the CHIPS Act, and her husband is trading Broadcom (AVGO) currently. Lastly we look at the top performing congressmen last year, Mark Green, who owns a substantial stake in Energy Transfer (ET), a midstream energy company focused on the US market.

2:55 from my research, i see applied materials as more of a research company than a commercial profit maximizing sales company, it's a great company, but i don't see much stock growth opportunity to be honest. I might be wrong though, I'm not fully confident in it.
