9:50 All solar pillars ennemies except crawlipede needs ground to spawn. so by being high enough and putting ground of the camera's view on only one side, solar ennemies can only spawn where he wants them to. The wall is because no ennemies can go trough the wall except for the ball when it attacks and crawlipede.

I watched one of Max's speedruns and, though it was a good run, there were just so many tiny little nitpick mistakes which got a little irritating. Had no idea he was considered a legend by the community.

Good analysis of Max’s run! I find it funny how cheese methods have been developed for so many bosses, and yet so many things were patched (stained glass, dungeon brick, etc)

For some reason on my first Terraria play through with my friend, we were able to defeat skeleton, prime, first try no set up from a random spawn, one night, and I struggled for multiple IRL weeks trying to kill destroyer. I also had trouble with Planterra and Golem

In case anyone's curious, I believe the polar pillar cheese works by restricting where the valid spawn locations are. The player is too high in the air for any part of the surface to be valid spawning, so the only valid spots are on the strip of cobblestone out towards the left. All of the enemies spawn there and immediately pathfind to the player, but none of them can fit through the two block gap
