Man I used to dread saltwater, after watching your video I'm much more confident now and I think I'll try it out sometime. Keep up the good work!

Joey when you fill it and start to cycle it put the spare rock in the sump so it cycles too.
1. If you want to change it around once cycled all ur rock is cycled.
2. If you decide you want to make a coral tank in future you have some cycled live rock to kick start the cycle.

An arch would be nice to see, if possible. And if you want to go with less rock in the tank but don't want to 'waste' it, stick it in the sump so you can still get the benefit of the bacteria, both in the cycling and later as more places for the bacteria to attach onto.

Personally I would like to see you do the above tank as a coral reef tank so we can see the differences between the two

I am so hyped for this aquarium. I have never kept salt water because I felt that the fish and colours were so bright it looked artificial and almost childish. However the last weeks I have started to love salt water and I am really interested to see the final result!

I like the second one. What I like even more is that you’re getting back into saltwater again.

Glad your throwing a saltwater in the mix! I like your scape, however the eel will easily move those rocks trying to get under them. One thought was to use those circle rocks and secure them together. Then lay them on their side to make a cave for the eel so maybe it won't try to go under much.

I like both scapes, but the first one was a bit more appealing with all the swim through. Also, I would add a nice trigger and a fox face, the fox face will help you with algae control.

I liked the first scape much better, it seemed to have more holes that were visible, and I loved the bridges that you built. But your the one that has to love it

Joey we understand the fish are number one with you. Have you considered using your smallest camera and filming it from the fish's perspective? This way you can see how they may interact with the scape you create.

My votes for the 1st scape Joey. Looks like more places to explore for fish and curves are always nice. Good luck.

Hey Joey, why don't you set the top aquarium as a predator tank and the bottom as a coral reef. It'll be easier for you to maintain the corals and also easier for you and guest to see.

I really like the 2nd one. Looks very natural and provides the perfect home for the fish. I can't wait to see it completed. Like always, great video Joey.

I loved the very first scape you had going.

Hey Joey, consider a fuzzy dwarf lionfish for your tank. Same personality as a normal Volitan lionfish but stay much smaller, allowing for better tankmates. I had one for about 5 years before my power went out while I was out of town and everything died. He was amazing and allowed me to keep him with smaller fish like clownfish and larger chromis or damsels (allowing for a diddler fish effect). I work at a saltwater aquarium store and love working with the dwarf lionfish! Thanks for your information and I'm impressed with the progress so far, can't wait to see what it looks like soon!

Looks great! Perfect timing for this series, I am starting my own saltwater tank right now. I have all of the equipment and I’m just about ready to add water myself so I’m looking forward for your next video!
