In this video I'm going to show you how to vibra screed a concrete floor and get it very flat or level.
This is a 30 yard residential concrete floor pour. We're using our vibratory screed for this one. The most important part to getting a very flat floor using these screeds are the guys raking the mud behind the screed.
If you have one or two very good "puddlers" that can keep up with the screed guy, you're going to get a nice floor.
The rakers, or puddlers, have to keep a small roll of concrete behind the screed. Not too much concrete and not too little or you'll get a hump of dip in the floor.
Another important part is to make sure the ends of the screed are leaving a little "line" in the concrete as you're pulling it back.
That means your "scoring" on each end and not riding high or digging in to the concrete.
